Get Outside & Check Out River Jam at the U.S. National Whitewater Center

What beats an evening of live music along the riverside while the sun goes down? Pretty much nothing. But that’s exactly what you get at River Jam. One of the most popular weekend evening activities in Charlotte, River Jam is a must-do activity if you haven’t been before. And if you have been before, you know you want to get back there soon.

River Jam, put on by the U.S. National Whitewater Center in Charlotte, NC, takes place every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night from May through September. The summer-long concert series features a different artist each night from a variety of different backgrounds. From rock to reggae and everything in between, there are River Jam concerts for everyone.

The U.S. National Whitewater Center is home to the largest man-made whitewater river on the planet, as well as 1,300 acres of land for rock climbing, ziplining, hiking, biking, bungee jumping, paddle boarding, kayaking, and more. Add in the large biergarten with local craft beers on tap, and the atmosphere makes River Jam an incredible and unique experience.

Entrance to River Jam is free and parking at the U.S. National Whitewater Center is only $6. To learn more about what River Jam has to offer, visit the Whitewater Center’s website here: http://usnwc.org/riverjam/
