Join a Local Charlotte Band on Its Journey To Better Waters

To Better Waters is a creative and talented Charlotte-based band that combines flashes of golden-era rock-n-roll with indie folk and bluegrass music of today. Somewhere between The Avett Brothers and Oasis, To Better Waters puts on a show that is a fun and unique experience for everyone in the audience.

The band originally formed in 2014 and has released two full-length albums to date. They recently released their latest EP, titled You Are Here, over this past summer. All their music is currently available for listening on major streaming platforms including Spotify, iTunes & Amazon Music.

To Better Waters is made up of five members – Matt Susong on lead vocals; Alex Warner on harmonies, acoustic guitar and keyboard/piano; Joel Turner on bass guitar; Paul Manos on electric guitar; and Patrick Allois on drums. The band frequently plays at local venues across Charlotte, including Thomas Street Tavern, NoDa Brewing Company, and Ed’s Tavern.

While their upcoming Charlotte show dates have ended now that the holiday season is quickly approaching, To Better Waters has one more show scheduled for the year in Wilmington, NC. They will return to the Charlotte stages in 2020, but if you can’t wait until then, check out the video of their C5 Couch Session with Charlotte Five below:
