Discover Swim In the Wild - "The Adventure Alternative Band of the Carolinas"

Swim In the Wild is an adventure alternative rock band with an enjoyably unique sound self-described as a “rock-folk-Americana fusion.” Though the group is based locally in the Queen City, the Swim In the Wild fanbase stretches from coast to coast. The band has toured all over the nation, highlighted by performing at Sundance Film Festival, playing with known bands like New Politics and Colony House, and being named a regional winner and national finalist at Hard Rock Rising: Battle of the Bands.

Swim In the Wild’s music is upbeat and will make you feel great as you listen and move along. Fans of the Avett Brothers, Cage the Elephant, Judah & the Lion and other similar bands are in for a treat. If you enjoy that genre of music, we encourage you to check out Swim In the Wild right now. Their music is available for listening across major streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.

The group consists of five members – Michael Hall on lead vocals, guitar, drums, banjo and ukulele; Steven Hall on lead vocals, drums, guitar, banjo and ukulele; Gersh Godwin on bass and vocals; Jeff Small on lead guitar and vocals; and Josh Thompson on piano, synth and keytar.

The next chance to catch Swim In the Wild in Charlotte is currently scheduled for Friday, September 11th at the Neighborhood Theatre. Once we all get through the current pandemic and back to enjoying the beautiful live music of the QC, we may luck out and get the chance to see them sooner than that. Be sure to check out the band’s website, Facebook and Instagram pages to stay updated on all show announcements, new music and more.
